Screen printing

We did some screen printing with Origami paper. Screen printing involves many processes, making the patterns with origami which involves folding, drawing a pattern, and cutting, placing it under the screen, using a squeegee appropriately to spread the paint, and the exciting part of the process being finding out what the printing would look like!
Many children tried this, and wanted to come back to experiment repeatedly. It also encouraged children who were experienced at this activity to help the children who were new to it. What a great example of tuakana-teina relationship!

Act of Kindness

When our friend is sad or upset, we are there to help. Our children are able to show such beautiful kindness to each other. Tino pai to mahi!

Running Games

Jonno from Project Energise came and took us for some running games today in preparation for our cross country next week.
It was neat fun running around Dawson with him!
